The Story of “The Private Door” by Franz Kafka

A man has always wanted to study law his life. He was willing to do anything to get him to become a lawyer. And this is the fairy tale, he went and began to wait at the door of LAW. In front of this rather imposing, large door, he was waiting excitedly for the day he would be admitted, dreaming of the moment when he could become a lawyer.

Years passed, but the door was never opened. But our hero waited patiently without losing any of his determination. For some reason, neither the door was opened to him, nor anyone else who applied and wanted to become a lawyer. And when he was old and death was near, an old man appeared. Our poor hero was so shy he couldn’t ask why the door never opened for him. But even though he was embarrassed, he said, “I have been waiting at this door for many years to become a lawyer. Why, when the law was so popular, no one applied for all these years, why didn’t anyone want to be a lawyer? she managed to ask.

The old man smiled and said, “I know what you are wondering. We make everyone the doors they want from us more than once in their lifetime. We never keep those doors closed, either. All this time you waited outside the door, begged us, prayed, and tried various ways to show how much you wanted. But not once did you try to open the door. If you weren’t impressed and afraid by the magnificence of the door, you would see that a door that big can be opened easily with the flick of a finger. We’ll make any door you really want, but it’s entirely up to you whether to open it or not.

“If you’re also wondering why no one came; each door is made for only one person, this door was made for you only, and now I take you with me and close the door so that it cannot be opened forever. Let’s go.” said.
